MAxine Troglauer Quintett
Eine klassische Jazz Quintett Instrumentierung mit Rhythmus-Gruppe und zwei Bläsern - jedoch aufgeteilt in unterschiedliche kleinere Klangformationen und pyramidenförmig gestaffelt. Einflüsse aus Klassik und zeitgenössischer Musik, die mit virtuosen Improvisationen verschmelzen und die Bassposaune als wendige Allrounderin präsentieren.

Solo Basstrombone
Seit der Entscheidung im Alter von 13 Jahren, von Tenor- zu Bassposaune zu wechseln, ist Maxine’s Faszination für die klangliche Vielfalt und die verschiedensten musikalischen Einsatzmöglichkeiten ihres Instruments stetig gewachsen.
Ein Großteil ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit ist mittlerweile dem Ziel gewidmet, die Bassposaune als virtuoses Soloinstrument zu etablieren.
Dies gelingt ihr unter anderem als Solistin mit u.a. den Münchner Symphonikern und Daniel Schnyder’s „subZero“ Bassposaunenkonzert oder als Solo Künstlerin mit ihr gewidmeten zeitgenössischen Werken.
Since she decided to switch from tenor to bass trombone at the age of 13, Maxine has grown fascinated by the timbre and extensive variety of sounds her instrument offers, as well as its various purposes in different musical contexts.
A large part of her artistic work is now devoted to establishing the bass trombone as a virtuoso solo instrument.
She has achieved this as a soloist with the Munich Symphony Orchestra, performing Daniel Schnyder's "subZero" bass trombone concerto, and as a soloist performing contemporary works dedicated to her.

Duo Troglauer/Stevanovich
„Grenzgänger“, „Kosmopoliten“ und das Aufbrechen von Klischees - unter anderem diese Eigenschaften verbinden die beiden Musiker:innen und sehen darin ihr Potential.
In eigenen Kompositionen und Arrangements lassen sie klassische und zeitgenössische Musik mit Improvisationen verschmelzen und zeigen so, dass Bassposaune und Akkordeon sich längst nicht mehr an stereotype Erwartungen halten, sondern ganz selbstbewusst eine neue Klangwelt offenbaren.
Seit 2024 werden die beiden von Leonard Senfter an Percussion Instrumenten unterstützt und finden somit die optimale Mischung aus melodiösen, harmonischen und perkussiven Anteilen für ihre Besetzung.
"Border crossers", "cosmopolitans" and the breaking of clichés - these are just some of the characteristics that unite the two musicians and in which they see their potential.
In their own compositions and arrangements, they fuse classical and contemporary music with improvisation, demonstrating that bass trombone and accordion no longer adhere to stereotypical expectations, but confidently reveal a new world of sound.
Since 2024, they have been joined by Leonard Senfter on percussion instruments, thus finding the optimal mix of melodic, harmonic and percussive parts for their instrumentation.

TEACHING & Musicphysiology
Neben ihrer Konzerttätigkeit, ist Maxine aktiv als Dozentin für Einzel- oder Gruppenunterrichte. Im Wintersemester 2023/2023 war sie Gastdozentin für Jazz-Bassposaune an der Hochschule für Musik Köln und ist seit Wintersemester 24/25 Dozentin für Jazzposaune an der Hochschule für Musik, Mainz.
Sie ist ebenfalls regelmäßige Posaunendozentin für Jugendbigbands, wie dem Landesjugendjazzorchester Sachsen und LJJO Hessen und Gast bei Workshops aus dem Jazz- und Klassik Genre, wie dem Alcobaça Low Brass Festival, Portugal oder Rekkenze Brass Workshop, Süddeutschland.
Zusätzlich zu ihrer instrumentalen Expertise, hat sie 2024 das Zertifikat für Musikphysiologie der Universität der Künste, Berlin abgeschlossen und integriert musikphysiologisches Fachwissen und dessen Anwendung in ihre Unterrichte.
In addition to her concert activities, Maxine is also active as a teacher, giving private and group lessons. In the winter semester of 2023 she was a guest lecturer for jazz bass trombone at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne, and since the winter semester of 2024/25 she has been a lecturer for jazz trombone at the Hochschule für Musik in Mainz.
She is also a regular trombone teacher for youth big bands such as the Landesjugendjazzorchester Sachsen and the LJJO Hessen, and a guest lecturer at workshops in jazz and classical music, such as the Alcobaça Low Brass Festival, Portugal or the Rekkenze Brass Workshop in the south of Germany.
In addition to her instrumental expertise, she completed a Certificate in Music Physiology at the Berlin University of the Arts in 2024 and integrates music physiological knowledge and its application into her teaching.
